Colchester Recycling Centre for household waste

Maldon Rd, Colchester CO3 4RN, UK

I’m sorry but I cannot understand the bad reviews for this place. The staff are incredibly friendly and courteous. They helped me carry stuff. They took stuff off me to put it in the right place. I witnessed an incident of a staff member being verbally abused for asking someone to use the correct bin and he was still really polite to the bloke. Can’t compliment the staff enough.

If you are lucky and time it just right you can have a quick visit.. otherwise be prepared to queue for ages. Why not change the parking layout so people have to reverse in at an angle to the skips, it would mean so many more cars could fit in. Often spaces at the top end of the facility but people tend to wait for spaces as they enter so queues tend to be longer than necessary. Why not have someone directing traffic?

Core Fusion Limited

52 Sweet Briar Rd, Stanway, Colchester CO3 0HH, UK – 07717 134153

Mark altered our down stairs cloakroom and hallway so that we could have a downstairs shower room. From start to finish everything was handled professionally. We received a quote which was less than expected, and we accepted and were given a start date. This was adhered to and the work was done cleanly and efficiently. We are extremely pleased with the result, and would recommend Corefusion at any time. Oh just one thing - the invoice was less than the quote !!! Cant say that this will be the case for everyone but it was in our case.

Very happy with Core Fusion Limited. Very professional and friendly i will be using them again in the future and I highly recommend!

Emmaus Emporium - Colchester

103-104 High St, Colchester CO1 1TH, UK – 01206 541616

Ever changing range of goods. Probably a treasure trove for students or starter homes.

Very impressive

Give and get free stuff. Here you will find lots of items that people are willing to give away, for FREE! This is instead of taking them to a local landfill site. The aim of this site is to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill (20.9 million tonnes of it last year in the UK) and recycling is great news for the environment.
We all know that we need to recycle more - and this is a great way of doing it.
